Pay3K is now available and is the perfect replacement for Pay2k. With centralised HR information and more automated features Pay3K will help your school/parish/college streamline payroll administration, improve data accuracy and significantly reduce processing time.

Integrated payroll and administration
Pay3K integrates seamlessly with SAS2000 school administration or the PACS parish administration software. It is designed to share your SAS2000/PACS Microsoft SQL database with the HR information centralised in SAS2000/PACS. When Pay3K starts, it automatically synchronises with the SAS2000/PACS records and checks for any name and address changes. Hence no duplicate entry of data is required.

You can launch Pay3K directly from within SAS2000/PACS and bypass the Pay3K log-in, as security is centralised within SAS2000/PACS. The software easily handles multiple operator access to the shared SAS2000+Pay3K or PACS+Pay3K database. Using Pay3K will not lock out access to staff that use other areas of SAS2000/PACS.

Pay3K can also be run independently as a stand-alone program.

Improved archiving
The advantage with a Microsoft SQL database is that all pay and leave transactions are stored and there is no need for much of the end-of-year processing that is used in Pay2K.

An audit trail of key payroll data changes is available across different financial years. For instance, you can scroll through payroll history on the Employee Details screen when the "Show Archived" option is turned on.

Better cost review and management
With its shared SQL database, Pay3K is more closely integrated with the General Ledger in SAS2000/PACS. Each Pay Run has an independent GL posting and the GL numbers are displayed in Pay3K. Running totals are calculated in reports on demand rather than being stored, allowing more complex queries across different financial years.

For multi-campus schools, cost review across different campuses is made easy with a new Campus field in Pay3K.

Enhanced leave handling, EFT and export
The ability to add additional leave accrual categories is available. This enables you to tailor Pay3K to the leave options available in your organisation.

In addition to EFT support for wages, Pay3K also provides EFT for salary packaging and deductions such as union fees. Exports for the ATO are available. You can export Employment Declaration information or Eligible Termination information and upload it directly to the ATO.

Extra handy features
» A Tax Calculation Details pop-up screen is available whenever the "Show Tax Calc" option is selected. This details how the final tax amount is calculated.



» Both Super and Pay Split can be done by percentage as well as amount and balance.

» The Employee Details screen displays the employee’s Auto Pay information, making it easier to view all pay information for an employee from one powerful screen.

» All table views of entries are independent from the current screen. You are able to have the table view and the screen open at the same time and move between them quickly.

» An unlimited number of allowances and deductions can be entered.

» The Pay Run process provides greater flexibility in how it operates. This makes processing the pay easier.

» Multiple Pay Runs can be viewed and maintained simultaneously.

» Export to pdf functionality is available on all reports. Many reports can also be exported to a wide range of formats including xls.

» Payslips can be queued for delivery whenever they are required.
