
Human Edge is a software development and services company with its Head Office located in South Melbourne, Victoria. Since 1983 we have developed a number of software products for the educational administration market for both primary and secondary schools. We currently employ 30+ staff members with almost half of them being software developers whilst the others are involved in support, implementation and training. Last year we opened a Sydney office to service our New South Wales client base.
Our products include: SAS for student and financial administration, FirstClass for timetabling in secondary schools and Pay2k for payroll and human resources. Over 70% of the Victorian Catholic schools are using SAS along with the majority of Diocese in NSW. SAS is also used by a range of independent schools throughout Australia. FirstClass is used by the majority of Victorian Government Secondary schools, as well as schools throughout Australia and overseas.
Recently we have developed two new products – A+ for Student Absences, Attendances and Alerts and Reporter Pro for Student Assessment, Measurement and Reporting. This new position focuses on providing support to the key management team in the company and covers most facets of our business. As such, it represents an ideal opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic person to expand their career experience and responsibilities.
