First Class Development

First Class SQL development moves along steadily, with more of the functions you are familiar with now functioning in this program as well.
Work on the current version of First Class is solely to include some features for A+ (see below).

A+

The following is a quote from the Victorian State Auditor General concerning Electronic Roll Marking (ERM). It should allay any lingering concerns about whether roll data in Victorian Government schools using ERMs needs to be transferred to CASES21...

"Schools who use third-party ERM products to maintain their attendance records are not required to re-input this information into CASES21. These schools can submit their annual summary absence reports to DET by keying-in figures into a web-based form. Our audit results suggest that approximately 10 per cent of government schools across Victoria use some form of ERM."

A+ Development

You will be able to schedule absences shortly. This allows the choosing of multiple students, and a date range.
Camps and Excursions absences will also be reflected automatically in the roll data. Students who have been excluded from a camp or excursion, and students that have been included that are not normally in the groups on the camp will be taken into account also.
