How to see unavailable teachers on the Available Teachers pane in Extras
There is a checkbox on the AVAILABLE TEACHERS pane in Extras, just below the EMERGENCY checkbox, which allows you to see unavailable teachers. You can then use teachers who either already have a class that period, or to whom you have already given an extra, to cover a class. Just "drag-and-drop" them as normal. You will be warned that they are unavailable. Just click YES to override this.
How to set groups of forms to print as Master timetables
You can set up groups of forms, such as year levels, to print as separate "master" timetables.
From the MAINTENANCE menu, select FORM GROUPS
Click on EDIT in the toolbar, and then click ADD
A new record appears in the left section of the screen
Give the group a code and a name
Click SAVE
With the new group highlighted, use the mouse and the arrow keys to move forms from the left pane of the right-hand section into the right pane. You can also use <SHIFT>-click or <CTRL>-click to make multiple selections before clicking the arrow. Forms can be removed from a group by using the same method and moving them from the right-pane to the left.
To print these groups:
From the TOOLS menu, select TIMETABLES
Open out the MASTER branch of the tree view
Open out the FORM GROUPS sub-branch and then the group you wish to print
Select the days to be printed and then preview and print them as usual
