A number of schools have now selected A+ for roll marking. Interest and acceptance continues and we would like to welcome the following schools who have recently ordered A+.

In addition, a number of other schools are piloting A+ in readiness for full deployment in 2005. Many of these schools attended a recent overview of A+ at our very first user Northcote High School. The development team at Human Edge would like to acknowledge the support and co-operation of Nick Scott at Northcote who has greatly assisted in the evolution of A+.
As some of you are probably aware, we are in pre-release mode for the new version of First Class Web. Written in ASP.NET, this will allow for much better development, and improved response times and accessibility. It still has the Timetable Viewer and the Finder, but with more options available, and will also allow users who have purchased A+ to do their roll marking via a browser.

You can set your own permissions in First Class Security?
| 1. | From the “Maintenance” menu, select “Security”. |
| 2. | Enter the username and password for the security administrator. |
| 3. | In the top-left pane, select the user or group for whom you wish to set permissions. |
| 4. | In the bottom left pane, using the tree-view, select the menu item/screen for which you wish to change permissions. |
If the right-pane already shows the permission required for the item on the far right, you need not change it. If it does not, then click the left checkbox to change "Deny" to "Allow", or the right checkbox to change "Allow" to "Deny".
This is also a reminder of the training sessions that are coming up with places left indicated. These will be the last First Class training courses for 2004, so get in before they fill up!
To book in for a particular session, click the date you wish to attend and enter your details.
