We are very pleased to confirm First Class’s sponsorship of the 2002 NSW Deputy Principals Association Annual Conference. Remember to keep a look out for our stand and say hello to Robert Bakker on September 5 & 6 at The Crown Plaza, Terrigal.
Due to final testing on the export options for CASES21 and Markbook programs, the new release of First Class will be available on our website from Tuesday 16 July. Release Notes explaining what is in the new release will be sent to you on Monday 15 July.
How do I import Blocking data from one database to another? (Premier License holders only)
Often, year level co-ordinators will want to take home a database and work on the blocking grid. In order to be able to consolidate the databases after doing this you will need to have a Premier (multi-user) license for First Class.
You can consolidate your databases as follows:
Make sure that the database you wish to import from can be accessed from the computer with the central database
With the central database open, select FILE>IMPORT>BLOCKING
Either type the path and name of the database to be imported into the DATABASE TO BE IMPORTED FROM field, or browse for it by clicking on the button at the end of the field
You can now do a TEST IMPORT or go straight to IMPORT. If you choose to go straight to IMPORT you will get a warning that the import will overwrite all the blocking data relevant to that year level with the data in the imported database.
You will be prompted to select the year level you wish to import from this database
Select the year level to be imported and click OK
Repeat for other year levels to be imported, either from the same database, or from another database

If you have ever moved house you would know how long it takes to advise everyone of your new address. You can waste a lot of time on hold in queues to call centres, filling out and mailing change of address forms all whilst trying to organise removalists, pack and then unpack your possessions!
This website aims to provide a "one-stop shop" for people moving house. It will save you time as you simply enter your old and new address details once, select the service providers you wish to notify and let the website do the rest! It will even provide you with contact details for removalists, storage space providers and cleaning and maintenance services.
The website uses similar security technology to that used by major banks and credit card companies and only information that is relevant to each service provider is sent to them. Change My Address also guarantees that your information will not be sold to marketing and direct mail companies.
You can log back in to the site at any time to send your new details to a service provider that you may have forgotten. The service keeps a log of all notifications sent so that you can refer back to them. It also provides you with e-cards to send to your friends as notification of your new address.
Moving house can be quite a headache. The Change My Address website offers some relief, mainly because you don't have to listen to any hold music!
