You are most likely familiar with the Microsoft Windows Explorer program which has now become an industry standard for PC and network navigation. Very soon there will be a similar feature in the Internet Options Pack for First Class providing browser based search capabilities for students, teachers, forms and rooms...First Class Explorer. More details next week along with a live version on our website for you to try out.
How do I know if I can use the short version of the upgrade download?
Our latest release of First Class gives you 2 options to download, a full version and a shorter version.
You can only use the shorter version of the download if you are already running the version specified in brackets after the file name (or a later version).
For example, the current release is build 308 and the shorter upgrade version of the download only works on machines that currently have build 282 or greater installed.
To find out what version you have, start First Class and click HELP>ABOUT. The version is shown towards the top of the About screen.
That SHOW TIMETABLE (a right-mouse menu option in EXTRAS), now shows when teachers at school lost classes (in lieus for camps/excursions), when teachers absent lost classes (illnesses, camps or excursions), and also updates when a teacher has been given an extra class.

Have you lost touch with your friends from school? Would you like to find them again and hear about what they are doing now?
The School Friends website provides a central point for you to register your contact details and school/university details so that former classmates from schools in Australia and New Zealand can get in touch with you again.
You can elect to become a Standard Member (free of charge) which entitles you to post your name and other details in the schools, colleges and universities that appear on the site and receive messages sent by Full Members to your email address.
If you choose to become a Full Member (a fee of $19.95 applies) you are entitled to send email messages to Standard and Full Members, post messages on any Message Boards on the site, upload photographs to the site and enter reunion details.
Your privacy is protected as only your name and the names of the school/s you attended are publicly displayed on the site. (This is not the case for the Message and Notice Boards however so you should be careful about the information you choose to post here.)
