New Accruals
Accruals in Pay2K have been redesigned and now cater for part time staff and varying work hours. Accruals can now be based on hours worked rather than a date range allowing greater flexibility and more accurate recording of leave accrued. Reporting on leave history and leave liability has also been added.
Automatic Tax Rate Updates
Tax rates can now be automatically updated, taking away the tedious job of keying in coefficients and having to double check that the figures have been entered correctly. Updating tax rates can now be performed by pressing a single button that retrieves any tax updates directly from our website. It's that easy!
Superannuation on Termination Pay
Several of our clients raised the issue of whether termination pay should automatically be included in superannuation calculations, so we’ve changed it! Pay2K now lets you specify at an award level, and when terminating an employee, whether superannuation calculation should be included termination amounts.
Enhanced Date Range Option on Reports
Superannuation summary reports and the monthly tax reports can now be run historically for any month, with the option of specifying a date range (previously these reports were restricted to current Month To Date figures only). This new feature will aid in the preparation of BAS and superannuation returns from previous months, saving you valuable time.
How Do I?
How do I get a summary of what each employee has been paid?
To get a summary report for employee pays go to REPORTS>EMPLOYEE HISTORY>SUMMARY.
If you would like to run this report with the employees grouped into their departments and a total listed for each department’s salaries, tick the BY DEPARTMENT option.
Each department that is available in Pay2k is listed, so the report can be run for all departments or for just selected departments. If the report is being run for a selected department(s) only employees who are part of that department will be included on the report.
The report order can be set to be by EMPLOYEE and then by DATE or by DATE and then by EMPLOYEE.
The report can be selected to run for all employees or just for selected employees, and for a specific date or a date range.
The details that are printed on the report are Wages, Allowances and Deductions Before Tax, the Taxable Amount, Tax, Allowances and Deductions After Tax, Employee Super Contribution and the Net Pay per employee per pay run.
