How do I clear the Month to Date figures?
In Pay2k there are several areas that record information on a Month To Date basis. Some of the reports in Pay2k are based on this Month To Date information.
At the end of each month, after printing off your end of month reports and before running your first pay run for the next month, the Month to Date figures should be reset to zero so that the figures for the next month are recorded accurately. To do this, go to END PERIOD>CLEAR MONTHLY TOTALS.
As this process resets the Month To Date figures to Zero you need to ensure that the Monthly Tax Report and the Superannuation Report Summary, which use the Month To Date information, have been printed before you clear the monthly totals.
