  How Do I?

How do I run a report for the details in the Autopay?
To get a report on the Autopay details:

	Go to REPORTS>PAYROLL
	Select AUTOPAY from the DATA SOURCE drop down list
	Select the employees you want to print the Autopay details for, and whether you want the detailed or summary version of the report
	Select if you require the report to be sorted by Code, Last Name or Department
	Click on PREVIEW

	The CURRENT PAY version of the report is based on the information that is present in the Current Pay form at the time the report is run
	The LAST UPDATE version of the report is based on the pay details for the Last Payroll Update to be run

  New Training Course Dates

	Thursday 12 December 2002	1.00pm - 4.30pm
	Tuesday 21 January 2003	9.00am - 12.30pm

At the end of the course you will know how to:

	Set up Pay2k with your school information
	Enter your pay codes
	Record Employee information
	Process a payroll
	Complete Month End procedures
	Complete Period and Month End reports

All courses are held in our Training Centre located at 427 City Road South Melbourne. Each session duration is approximately 3½ hours. The morning sessions begin at 9.00am and the afternoon sessions begin at 1.00pm.

The cost of each course is $160 per person (ex. GST) for schools on Service & Support, or $200 per person (ex. GST) for schools not on Service & Support. Discounts apply for multiple bookings, please see our website for further details.

  Website of the Week

Many of you may have heard of Choice magazine, published by the Australian Consumers Association, a non-profit organization that provides information about the various products we use from day to day.

The Choice website is basically an online version of the magazine but has the advantage of being “up to the minute” as well as having a series of articles from previous issues. You can use the site to find information about which products are the best value for money, read about consumer alerts and the latest scams to watch out for, and also find out important information about product recalls using a link to the Australian government website.

You can make good use of the information available to the general public as many reports can be viewed by all visitors to the website. Membership (which costs $13 a quarter) does have some advantages though, as it will give you access to additional services that can save you money. For example, a monthly newsletter will provide product recommendations and the Choice Shopper service will source the best possible price if you wish to purchase an electrical appliance, camera, car or computer. You may in fact find that you save many times your quarterly membership fee!

Regardless of whether you decide to become a Choice member, the reports and articles featured on their website can help you to make more informed decisions about the products you purchase.
