Interim Release

A number of schools have reported issues with students not appearing unless the "Include Active Student Only?" option is un-ticked. The problem is caused by the inactive field on the student record having been left blank for any students or enrolments added in version 597 of the software. Due to the number of areas that this affects we have decided to produce an interim release of the software, while testing continues on the next full release of the software. The interim release will run a check over the data and reset any students or enrolments where the inactive flag has been left blank to "No".

The interim release will be available from the website on Friday 1st February.

The next full release of the software will be available prior to the 11th of February.

  How Do I...?

How do I process a bill where part of the amount has 10% tax on it and part doesn’t?
	To process a bill where part of the amount has 10% tax on it and part doesn’t you need to enter the amounts as separate lines on the bill. Each of the items need to have been setup with the appropriate Tax Codes. One will be GST Free and the other will have GST of 10%.
How does the Rank in the Family field work?
	The Rank in the Family field on the student record is a number field that has been made available for you to record, if you wish to, the student’s position in their family, regardless of how many children in the family actually attend the school. The field is not automatically updated as it is not based on the students who are attending the school. The ‘At School’ field on the student record provides the information on the students who are attending the school.
