How do I check that the transactions in SAS2000 have gone through the Bank?

You can match off the items on the Statement you receive from the bank to the transactions that have been entered in SAS2000 by going to GENERAL LEDGER>BANK RECONCILIATION.

To use the Bank Reconciliation form in SAS2000:

	Click on ADD to create a new Reconciliation
	Select the bank account to be reconciled
	Enter the OPENING and CLOSING BALANCE for the bank account at the top of the form

All of the transactions in SAS2000 that have affected the bank account will be listed in the middle of the Bank Reconciliation form. When you match a transaction on the Bank Reconciliation form to an entry on the Bank Statement mark the item off. Once you have matched all the entries on the Bank Statement with the transactions in SAS2000, the unreconciled difference on the Bank Reconciliation form should be zero. The Bank Reconciliation can now be posted.
