Melbourne Training Available in Term 1 Holidays We all know how hard it is to set aside time for learning. A busy workload makes it hard to allocate time for professional development without falling behind in our regular duties. With this in mind, we have scheduled SAS2000 courses during the upcoming Term 1 holidays. Whether you are new to the package or just want to refresh your knowledge, attending these courses will maximise your use of SAS2000, and in-turn save you precious time. Training manuals & lunch are provided.
Course outlines can be found by visiting our website
How do I process the Bulk Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) Payment? If students attending the school are eligible for the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) the school will receive a cheque from the Government that has to be allocated to the school fees for several families. NOTE: This method of entering the EMA to the families supersedes the method listed in the SAS2000 Tips and Tricks Manual. Entering the bulk EMA payment is a 2 step process.

http://www.abc.net.au/schoolstv/ Although often put down as the cause of students not doing any homework, TV can be useful in the classroom if you know what programs to watch. ABC TV is well known for showing educational programs on weekday mornings during school terms and the ABC Schools Television website is a great resource for planning lessons that incoporate visual aides. The website not only has schedules of educational programming - from one day to six months in advance - it also allows you to search by subject, age range (primary to secondary), and program title. If you are looking for support materials for developing lessons based on these programs, then the teacher resources section that provides links to the websites for the shows will be extremely useful. Finally, there are also contact details if you wish to correspond with the network about any of the programs listed or to order a video of one of the programs. An essential resource if you plan lessons using programs screened on ABC TV.
